IBM ? Lotus Learning Widget for IBM ? Lotus Notes ? is a widget for sidebar that is used to view and filter material within your client for IBM Lotus Notes version 8.0.1 or higher.

IBM Lotus Notes Lotus Learning Widget gives you access to the following types of users of Lotus Notes training materials:
Task-based demonstrations: It is product simulations based on tasks that show the user how to perform a task or a small number of related tasks.
Video: Videos are similar to task-based demonstrations, but are larger in scope. They teach a skill that normally covers various tasks. These manifestations are affections of film such as the Pan, zoom and audio. Videos can also provide an overview of product concepts, such as the concepts of security for Lotus Domino databases. They include animations that illustrate concepts that help developers of applications, administrators and end users to better understand the functioning of a product.
Tutorials: A tutorial provides step-by-step instructions on how common tasks when the first introduction of a product. Tutorials often include sample files to download.
Product Tour: A demonstration of the product is a collection of animations and simulations for product that presents the product and its features. They are as introductory on what other learning and knowledge is constructed.
Web seminars: A web seminar is a learning experience based on the presentation that is developed with the speaker and audio track notes. This seminar can be delivered as its rhythm (Web or SCORM) or by an instructor or in a virtual classroom or live or Web Conference.
Online courses: E-learning courses are comparable to raw in a face-to-face classroom course, but can take online at your own pace. Online courses can include conceptual information, task "as" information and sample files to do exercises on their own.
Reference cards: Reference cards are a quick reference for users to quickly find how to perform common tasks in a product. These are printable in a two-page format.

Use the following instructions to install the Lotus Learning Widget in Lotus Notes 8.0.1 or bar lateral superior.
Note: if already installed the learning plug-in for IBM Lotus Notes, you need to uninstall this add-on before you install the Widget for learning. From the learning plug-in for the article from IBM Lotus Learning Widget for instructions, see update.
Result: My Widgets icon is displayed in the sidebar as shown below:
Result: S My Widgetpanel opens.
6 If you are using Notes 8.5.1, the lotus learning widget icon displays in the pane for Widgets in my and add to your sidebar in notes, as shown below:
Click the Lotus Learning Widget in the sidebar to view its contents.
7 If you are using a version prior to Notes 8.5.1, click on the lotus learning widget icon in the widgets My panel and select open in > sidebar.
Learning Widget is ready for use. After installing the Widget of learning, the sidebar in Notes client will be similar to the following image on screen.
Note: When new materials are added to the learning Widget and you have a connection to the Internet, the Widget is automatically updated with new materials.

IBM Lotus Learning Widget is offered on an "as-is" basis. The widget and Lotus Notes are updated frequently, and therefore the widget are not compatible with each generation of Lotus Notes.
